Many years ago I started to plan a story about a futuristic/post-apocalyptic Earth from the perspective of a few normal people, the main character being a teenager girl. It never took off, but that's surely the atmosphere I'd try to give it - destruction, but also beauty and calmness. Something in the lines of Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (or Laputa but more urbanized).

I really love how you put red, yellow, green and blue all in the same canvas. I shall learn from this piece!
